Orinoco River Delta

Well Carnaval time in South America... Where do you go? Oh well lets take a plane...car...and finally a boat to get to a small lodge in the middle of a small river. We went with my art teacher Mr. Anderson, The choir teacher Dr.Miller, My counselor Ms. Stacia, The high school art teacher Ms. Tamara, and  Mr. Byer and Ms. Barga with their cute son Cormack.

In the Orinoco we went on a jungle hike. It was pretty much wading through mud...mud...and more deep mud. It was so fun Luca's boot got stuck and our lovely guide Marco stuck his arm down inside to get it out. My counselor (the other blonde one) upset a bees nest and the high school art teacher was behind her (the red head). The other guide Clemente told her to hold her breathe because the bees follow the heat. In this picture it is after the hike and we are covered in mud. I am also holding a machete.

In this photo we are fishing with wooden fishing poles and Ms.Tamara caught a catfish. On the fishing side we went fishing for pirañas and I caught two.

Just one of the two pirañas. They truly are beautiful... and delicious.

Fun Fact: I won every game we played every night.
